Terms & Conditions

Last updated: April 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of services by Syncer.

1. Services

Syncer provides audio mixing, video editing, and related digital services.

2. Orders & payment

Orders are confirmed upon payment. Work begins once payment and required project materials are received.
If required project materials are not submitted within 30 days of payment, the order may be cancelled without refund.

3. Delivery

Standard delivery time is approximately 48-72 hours unless otherwise specified. Delivery times may vary depending on project complexity.

4. Revisions

Up to 5 revisions are included unless otherwise stated. Additional revisions beyond this limit are available upon request and subject to a separate quote.

5. Client responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing all required files, accurate information and clear instructions when placing an order. This includes valid and accessible download links, organized stems or footage, and any references or creative direction relevant to the project.

Incomplete submissions, missing files, restricted links, corrupted materials or unclear instructions may delay delivery. Syncer is not responsible for delays resulting from incomplete or defective materials submitted by the client.

If the files or project scope submitted do not match the purchased service, Syncer will contact the client before starting work. A supplementary quote will be issued for any scope exceeding the purchased service. Work begins only after the client confirms and pays the difference. If the client does not respond within 48 hours or declines the adjustment, the project will be processed within the purchased scope only, or cancelled with a full refund if no work has commenced.

6. Refunds

Due to the custom and digital nature of the services provided, refunds are not available once work has commenced. In exceptional circumstances, a partial refund may be granted at Syncer’s sole discretion.

Orders placed in error — wrong service, wrong tier, or duplicate order — are eligible for a full refund or service adjustment if reported before work has commenced. After commencement, no refund or adjustment will be issued.

Work is considered commenced upon written confirmation by Syncer that the project has been accepted and production has started. This confirmation is sent by email once all files and instructions have been reviewed and validated.

6.1 Right of withdrawal

In accordance with EU consumer law, clients have a 14-day withdrawal right.

However, by placing an order and requesting immediate service execution, the client expressly agrees that the service may begin immediately and acknowledges that the right of withdrawal is waived once work has commenced and digital content production has started.

7. File delivery & storage

Final files are delivered digitally. Clients are responsible for downloading and backing up delivered files.

8. Use of work

Syncer may request permission to use short excerpts of completed projects for portfolio or promotional purposes. No material will be shared or published without the client's explicit prior consent.

9. Public Credit & Announcement

Syncer reserves the right to publicly state involvement in a project (e.g., crediting mixing or editing services) once the work has been officially released. This does not include publishing audio or video excerpts without the client’s prior consent.

10. Liability

Syncer’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service provided. Syncer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the delivered files.

11. Intellectual Property & Credits

The client retains full ownership of the original content provided.
The client is responsible for ensuring that all submitted materials are properly licensed.
Separate stems or alternate exports must be requested in advance or purchased as an add-on.
The client agrees to credit Syncer in the release description or liner notes where applicable.

12. Changes to Terms

Syncer reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions and pricing at any time. Any changes will not affect services already purchased or confirmed.

13. Applicable law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by French law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent French courts.

14. VAT

VAT not applicable, article 293B of the French General Tax Code.
